Tokenized Anthropic Stock Surges 774%, Implied Valuation Hits $1.6 Trillion

A token tied to a company that says the token has nothing to do with it just surged over 700% in a single day — and traders bid its implied valuation past $1.6 trillion anyway.
A tokenized instrument tracking the implied private-market valuation of AI research company Anthropic surged 774% within 24 hours on August 1, trading on the Solana-based PreStocks platform. The rally pushed the token’s implied valuation to roughly $1.6 trillion across tracked venues, while onchain traders on the Jupiter decentralized exchange priced the company closer to $1 trillion, a 733% climb since October 2025.
Either figure vastly exceeds Anthropic’s own most recent primary funding round, a Series G in February 2026 that valued the company at $380 billion. These tokens don’t represent actual equity in Anthropic — they’re synthetic instruments tracking a private company’s implied value based on secondary-market sentiment, not shares issued or recognized by the company.
Anthropic has publicly disavowed these tokenized products, stating they carry no legal or contractual relationship to the company and calling any implied ownership claims void. That disclaimer hasn’t stopped speculative trading volume — the token recorded tens of millions of dollars in turnover on the day of the surge alone.
The rally appears tied to speculation around Anthropic’s business momentum and the possibility of a future public listing, rather than any specific news event from the company itself. Tokenized private-company exposure has become a recurring speculative vehicle in crypto markets, letting retail traders bet on companies they otherwise have no legal way to invest in before an IPO.
The mismatch between a token’s speculative price and a company’s actual valuation is exactly the kind of gap regulators have flagged as a risk with unofficial tokenized-equity products, since the price is driven entirely by trader sentiment with no earnings reports or legal claim on the underlying company backing it up.
