Morgan Stanley Launches Ethereum and Solana ETPs With the Lowest Fees in the Category

Morgan Stanley just launched two crypto ETPs with the lowest fees in the category — and it isn’t keeping a cent of the staking rewards.
Morgan Stanley Investment Management began trading spot Ethereum (MSSE) and Solana (MSOL) exchange-traded products on NYSE Arca on July 28, 2026, each carrying a 0.14% annual expense ratio, the lowest among U.S. Ethereum and Solana funds.
Both products stake a portion of their holdings — MSSE targets 50-80% of its ETH, MSOL up to 100% of its SOL — and pass roughly 95% of the resulting rewards straight through to shareholders. Morgan Stanley says it will not retain any share of the staking rewards itself.
The launch follows the Morgan Stanley Bitcoin Trust (MSBT) earlier this year, the firm’s first crypto ETP, which held more than $381 million in assets as of mid-July. Two more asset classes now sit inside the same regulated, familiar wrapper traditional investors already use.
