Bitcoin ETFs Stretch Inflow Streak to Seven Days, Push August Past $3 Billion

Seven trading days. Seven days of net inflows. That is the streak US spot Bitcoin ETFs extended on Tuesday, pulling in another $314.3 million and pushing the group’s August total past $3.03 billion — a threshold that had looked out of reach just two weeks ago when the same funds were still digging out of a rough stretch of outflows.
The headline numbers from the latest session, based on flow data compiled by Farside Investors and corroborated across multiple trackers:
- Daily net inflow: $314.3 million, the seventh consecutive day of positive flows.
- Lead fund: BlackRock’s IBIT, responsible for roughly $284 million of the day’s total — over 90% of net inflows landed in a single product.
- August running total: $3.03 billion, now within roughly $390 million of October 2025’s monthly inflow record with four trading sessions left in the month.
- Total net assets: approximately $99.05 billion across the spot Bitcoin ETF category.
- Cumulative inflows since launch: $54.36 billion.
- Year-to-date outflows: cut by more than half over the past several weeks, down to roughly $2.26 billion.
Two straight days above $300 million is a detail flow-trackers were quick to flag in real time, since single-day swings of that size are unusual even by this category’s standards.
Farside’s own daily snapshot, published shortly after markets closed, shows the same IBIT-led pattern that has defined most of the streak — a handful of smaller funds like Fidelity’s FBTC and Bitwise’s BITB contributing modestly, while several products in the eleven-fund category recorded no flow at all on a given day.
Coin680 covered the earlier leg of this rebound when August inflows first crossed $2.6 billion in the wake of a broader market bounce. What is different now is not the direction — flows had already turned positive by then — but the durability of the streak itself. Seven straight sessions of inflows is a longer run than the category has managed in months, and it comes without any single blockbuster day driving the average; most sessions in the streak have landed in the $150 million to $340 million range rather than one outsized print skewing the total.
Whether the streak survives the month’s final four sessions will determine if August ends up setting a new inflow record outright, or simply the strongest month since last October. Either outcome would mark a sharp reversal from where the category stood earlier in the year, when cumulative 2026 outflows were running well above current levels.
ETF flow data reflects institutional and retail demand for regulated Bitcoin exposure but does not predict future price movement. This is not investment advice.
